I feel your pain I worked for Royal for about 6 weeks too long and and never made a sale.
Their means of attracting employees are as crude or worse than their means of attracting ups (potentials) from the street.
I had an awesome time in Bali but it is the most deceptive job I have ever done plus I gave up a good job in Australia as I beleived the company to be moral.
Morally I couldn't do it as I can't sell something I don't beleive in even if the product may represent value to some.
Every morning we were lectured like stupid little school children how we have to make sales otherwise we will be cut (fired).
It became tedious so I said stuff it and resigned. There are some great people working for Royal but the upper echelons suck.
Next time be sceptical of anyone handing out anything for free and I'm sorry for your loss of time while on vacation.
