I read your blog and had exactly the same experience in Bali in December of 2009. Problem being I got sucked into signing a contract with Royal Resorts. Since returning to Australia and done some further research (stumbled across your web post) and now feeling quite the fool. Curious to know if you have had any emails from people who have signed a contract and if they have gotten out of it? I have only paid a $1000 deposit at this stage and from what I have researched the general consensus seems to be; change direct deposit details and don't pay any more and let them chase me. In addition we have sent them emails saying that our financial circumstances have changed and we are not in a position to continue with the contract.
