My family was approached the same way in Sanur in August 2009. We were told that we could have discounted airfares in addition to the accommodation .My wife was very enthusiastic. We ended up signing on for $16000.& were told that there was a cooling off period, if we changed our minds.

When we returned to Australia, I called them to say we wanted to opt out of the deal. They refused to do this saying we were not forced to buy ,in the first place & there is no cooling off period. There are also no discounted airfares.

 

I was extremely distraught at having been sucked in so badly. Our problem was believing people who are very well trained at pushing the right buttons to reel us in.

 

I still get extremely angry when I remember this, and it feels the same as having been robbed.

 

Some of you only lost was a couple of hours ,but we lost $16000.

 

Tony ,I am glad you have made your site, if only to warn others like me.
